Summer Update!

TQMA Members,
I would like to extend a big Thank You to all the families and drivers that were at Fridays fun race.  Thanks for all those that were able to come and support the club the turnout was excellent.  Look for pictures to be posted soon on the website.  We managed to not be rained out this time despite all the rain earlier in the week.  I hope all of your drivers had as much fun with the water gun fight afterward as mine did. I wanted to remind everyone we are off the next two weekends with the opening of the Eastern Grands.  Good Luck to any of our members that may be traveling too and participating at them.  We will race again on July 9 with our 6th points race and all classes to qualify.  I look forward to seeing everyone there and feel free to go practice during this time.

ATTENTION NOVICES!!

We will start having Novice training/practice every Monday night from 6:30p.m. - 9:30p.m. You need to contact me by 9:00p.m. on Sunday evenings to confirm you will be attending (phone 918-756-7600 wk or 918-231-6629, or e-mail jra4360@aol.com ). If no one confirms, I won't make the trip to Tulsa. 

We will be working on Lining up: Double and single file, and passing. 

For the new members and beginners (age 4 1/2 or older) we will be having Novice class work on 6/21 & 6/28. So far, we have four novices that are age eligible, Foster, Honel, Moody, and Tapp. Please let me know if you know of any others and if you will be attending, so that I will have your training books ready. This group will meet in the tower, while the other are training on the track.

We will NOT have Novice training on Monday July 5, 2010 due to the holiday.

We are looking forward to some great practice and racing, see you there.

TQMA in Rooster Day Parade

TQMA will be having a float in the Broken Arrow Rooster Day Parade

Saturday, May 8, 2010.  We need drivers and parents to walk along the float and pass out flyers for our 10 for 10.  It would be great for the drivers to be in the driver suits.

We have two spots open on the float for the Rooster Day Parade if anybody is interested? Call Jon Taylor 402-6794 or respond on the facebook page. We are meeting at the Duffy's parking lot located at 81st and Elm in Broken Arrow at 8:00am on May 8th. The Parade line up starts at 9:00am.
